P174 SOA Made simple: creating a roadmap for your organization

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

After your organization has decided to apply SOA as an architectural solution you need to decide how to accomplish this. You will need to decide how to transform your current IT solutions to the desired architecture. Often this is called a roadmap. The content and order of this roadmap depends heavily on the goals of the organization. This session looks at how to analyze the benefits a SOA offers to different stakeholders in the context of a business case, different approaches to the realization of SOA, and how to setup the roadmap. This session is based on a chapter from the book "SOA Made Simple" (Packt) ,written by Lonneke Dikmans and Ronald van Luttikhuizen. Several cases are used to illustrate the different approaches.
